Isometric pixel art

So this time it's about isometric pixel art, it's quite often seen nowadays, and considered cool etc :) many website which are very good looking & professional uses isometric pixel art.

Here is my quick take on isometric pixel art, took about 2mins :D

Not hard at all, and as you can see i mixed it in with more "traditional" way of graphics, a normal shading blend using gradients & masks. it's a bit off, but who cares as it's just for illustration :)

Streamlining your work process

Hiya there!

You must been waiting for a new post, right?
Well here it is, and today it's gonna be about streamlining your work process in Photoshop :)

The first one to feature is "The Multiple Factor" in Adobe Photoshop CS2, they show you how the new ability in CS2 to select multiple layers at one time, specifically about modifying text layers, multiple at a time, and for those who haven't been using grouping before, there is a bit about that too! :)

Then some basics, using quick mask to cut objects out. This is something basic and what most of you know already, but it's a quick way to do the job also, here is some info on using masks.

Batch Processing (Photoshop 7 tutorial) just some basics of batch processing in photoshop to streamline your workflow :) Another quick one on batch patch processing here. :)

Something important one should never forget: keyboard shortcuts :) also a graphical keyboard shortcuts list :) Note that neither of these contains all of them in one, both combined even most probably don't cover them mostly, just look for them, you'll find more, didn't notice any better with quick look around, so i just might come in & list myself all of those i can find :)

Complex selection in black & white pictures, isn't always a easy job, but there is help to do it by colorizing :)

Hiya,

this blog is intended for those who want to do cool graphics with photoshop!
It's easier than you'd imagine, and there is plenty of help to get done what you want to do!

Want to make your dad look like a zombie? Perhaps you wanna make bigger boobs for your GF? Change your own eye color to bloodish red? Anything kewl you can imagine can be done with photoshop! Hell, you could even make a car which looks like an elephant with photoshop or moon made of cheese and mouses eating it, all looking realistic!
